Aims to understand: a) how water gets to the river; and b) the role of life on landscapes.
- Plant mortality
What causes plant mortality? The aim of this research in pinyon pine mortality is to create a physiological model that helps us understand plant susceptibility to drought.

How do plants modify their environment? This project examines water loss (through evaporation and transpiration) in response to changes in vegetation.

This project looks at the relationships of carbon, water, and vegetation in rainforests under climatic variability and change.
