The artist-in-residence is strongly encouraged to reside in the Biosphere 2 student village, where subsidized accommodation can be provided. Modest stipends can also be applied for to cover material costs. Please include this in your project proposal budget.
Artists-in-Residence are also invited to exhibit their work at the B2 Art Gallery and/or on the campus grounds.
Artists interested in investigating the intersection between Art and Science are invited to apply to our residency program. There is currently no deadline for application. Inquiries can be addressed directly to:
Dr. Pierre Meystre
Director, B2 Institute
The University of Arizona

Once the completed application is received, the Director of the B2 Institute and the Advisory Panel will then engage in a discussion with outstanding applicants to develop an individually tailored residency program that best fits the goals and objectives of the prospective artist/applicant.
