Biosphere 2 - Where science lives.
spacer

The B2 Institute is addressing scientific Grand Challenges whose solutions require the combined expertise of a broad range of scientific fields and diverse interdisciplinary talents. Located on the Biosphere 2 campus, it provides a non-traditional structure that facilitates interaction through a combination of workshops, conferences, retreats, extended programs, and outreach activities. These events are labeled by the logo.

In addition, it also hosts and may co-sponsor events convened by academic organizations as well as by non-profit foundations and businesses to address a variety of important issues in science and education that fall under its broad thematic umbrella.
