Facilities and Lodging
B2 Institute utilizes the Biosphere 2 Campus as a unique and ideal setting for conferences. Nestled in the northwest metropolitan Tucson, Arizona, in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains an elevation of around 4,000 feet, the site is less than one hour from Tucson International Airport and one and one-half hours from Phoenix International Airport.
Accommodations are Santa Fe style houses that each have three to five bedrooms. The bedrooms share a central kitchen and living area. Rooms are oversized and feature high-speed Internet access and air conditioning.
In addition to guest rooms, the B2 Institute also offers a large conference room that can be set up in a variety of configurations and holds up to 130 people. Several smaller meeting rooms can also be utilized for breakout areas.

The large conference room rate is $750/day. Discounted rates may be available to University of Arizona-sponsored groups.
Audio Visual/Technical support is available, with cost dependent on your requirements. |
Private tours can be arranged, which normally include a historical overview of the Biosphere 2 project, a look inside under the glass at many of the biological systems within the structure, and discussion of past and current research underway. |
